ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA -- From pumpkin patches to Native American storytelling, Antelope Valley is alive with community spirit this October. Residents across Lancaster, Palmdale, and surrounding towns are embracing the season with events that celebrate local culture, creativity, and connection.
Fall Fun and Family Favorites
Prancer’s Farms in Palmdale is hosting its annual fall celebration, complete with hayrides, corn mazes, and a pumpkin patch that’s perfect for family photos. The event runs daily through October at the Palmdale Auto Mall, drawing crowds from across the valley.
The Kaleidoscope Fall Frenzy at the Palmdale Amphitheater offers live music, food trucks, and artisan booths every Friday evening. It’s a vibrant mix of local talent and seasonal flair that’s quickly becoming a community favorite.
Markets and Makers
The BLVD Market in Lancaster continues every Thursday, transforming the downtown strip into a bustling hub of fresh produce, handmade goods, and street performances. Meanwhile, Palmdale Farmers Market at Oasis Park brings together growers, bakers, and crafters each Friday evening.
AV Winery Farmers’ Market on Saturdays offers a more relaxed vibe, pairing local wines with fresh fruits, vegetables, and gourmet snacks. It’s a great spot for weekend unwinding and casual conversation.

Art, Music, and Open Mic Nights
MOAH: CEDAR’s Spotlight Café hosts open mic nights every Friday, giving local poets, musicians, and storytellers a stage to share their voices. The intimate setting fosters creativity and community dialogue.
Lucky Luke Brewing Co. adds a musical twist with its “Bring Your Own Vinyl” nights, inviting residents to spin their favorite records while enjoying craft brews.
Native American Festival Returns
One of the season’s most anticipated events is the Native American Celebration at the Antelope Valley Indian Museum, happening October 18–19. The festival features hoop dancing, Aztec performances, traditional storytelling, and hands-on activities like clay working and flint knapping. Visitors can also enjoy frybread and explore handcrafted jewelry and beadwork from Native artists.
This year’s celebration opens with a blessing from Chumash/Fernandeño Tataviam elders and includes music from Blue Star, a Northern Style drum group. It’s a powerful tribute to the region’s Indigenous heritage and a chance for residents to connect with history through art and ritual.
Whether you're looking to shop local, celebrate culture, or simply enjoy the crisp autumn air, Antelope Valley offers something for everyone this October.
