Global First—From Humble Beginnings to Insurance Success: The Inspiring Journey of a Local Couple

LANCASTER, CA—In 2012, the lives of Jose & Karla Soriano, founders of Global First Insurance & Tax Services, were changing in what they described as “the most beautiful way—we were expecting our first son." Like many parents, they dreamed of creating a better future for him, one, according to Karla, “filled with stability, opportunity, and purpose.” With that dream in their hearts, the couple opened their very first office. It was just a mere 150 square feet—a tiny space by any standard—but it carried within it their biggest hopes and aspirations.
From those humble beginnings, the couple worked day and night, driven not only by the desire to build a business but also by a calling to serve. Karla stated, “We saw the needs of our community—families like ours, business owners with big dreams, and individuals searching for guidance. We knew that if we poured into others with honesty, care, and education, the seeds we planted would grow.”
And grow they did. In August 2025 the couple opened their second location in the Antelope Valley, this time in Lancaster on Valley Central Way. What started as a small family effort has become Global First Insurance & Tax Services—a company that today serves clients across California, nationwide, and even internationally in El Salvador. “Every step of our journey has been guided by faith, family, and the belief that serving others leads to abundance for all,” Karla explained.
