Palmdale, CA — The Palmdale Playhouse is going green early this year, hosting a lively Celtic celebration on Friday, September 26, in honor of “Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day.” The event promises a night of Irish music, culture, and community spirit, headlined by the acclaimed folk band Mayde in Ireland.1
The Playhouse will transform into a festive hub starting at 7 p.m., with traditional Irish tunes, storytelling, and interactive moments designed to bring a taste of the Emerald Isle to the Antelope Valley. Organizers say the event is part of a broader effort to expand cultural programming and seasonal festivities in Palmdale.
“We have a lot to celebrate in our City and cultural events like this help bring us together,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “Whether your family tree has roots in Ireland or you simply appreciate great music, this performance offers something special for everyone.”

Tickets are available through the Palmdale Playhouse box office for $15.00, and early interest suggests a packed house. Local vendors will also be on-site offering themed snacks and drinks, adding to the immersive experience.
Whether you're Irish by blood or just Irish by vibe, this celebration is shaping up to be one of Palmdale’s most spirited nights of the season.
